Jimmy Eat World - March 17 & 19, 1999
Jimmy Eat World are celebrating the 10th anniversary of their album, "Clarity", with ten shows starting next week in New York City and ending in Tempe, Arizona.
This first video was filmed on March 17, 1999, at the First Unitarian Church in Philadelphia, PA. At the time, "Sweetness" was a new song. It later ended up on "Bleed American".
The second video is from the Showplace Theatre in Buffalo, NY. The last song on "Clarity", "Goodbye Sky Harbor" was also the last song of the evening of March 19, 1999.
Check out Jimmy Eat World on Myspace and follow them on Twitter.

Lucero - July 3, 2007
I just posted a review of Ben Nichols' mini-album, "The Last Pale Light In The West" at Rapid Transit Radio. This is a video of Ben's band, Lucero, performing "Ain't So Lonely" and "That Much Further West" on July 3, 2007, at Xtreme Wheels in Buffalo, NY. The Props Road Fools Rock-N-Roll BMX Tour 2 DVD contains footage from the same show, but I haven't seen it.

Franz Nicolay - January 13, 2009
YouTube user offtowar posted some videos of Franz Nicolay performing at Mohawk Place last month. You may know Mr. Nicolay from World/Inferno Friendship Society, The Hold Steady, or any of his numerous collaborations. He just finished the first leg of a tour supporting his solo record, "Major General". Check out the tour diary that contains a brief mention of the Buffalo show.

AFI - April 1, 1997
While searching YouTube for stuff to post, I stumbled across this video. As I began to watch it, I realized that I had recorded this show and completely forgotten about it. As you can tell from the videos I post, I'm not really one to be complaining about quality but if you want to watch a VHS transfer compressed to shit, go ahead and click on that YouTube link above. I transferred this from the original 8mm tape and tried to make it look as pretty as possible.
AFI play a song from their first album and a Minor Threat cover at the Showplace Theatre in Buffalo, NY, on April 1, 1997.
